Our approach / Partnership principles

Care comes first.
Trust follows actions.

Useful partnerships depend on honest expectations. These are the principles that guide every relationship across Urban Pet Partners.

Pets' safety and wellbeing come first

We review suitability and the evidence behind relevant claims before accepting paid promotion. A commercial opportunity isn't a reason to overlook a welfare concern.

Payment buys agreed visibility, never an editorial verdict

Paid placements must be clearly labelled. Payment, gifts, complimentary products and hosted visits don't guarantee a listing, editorial coverage or a positive review.

Checking has a scope, and a limit

A listing check isn't a blanket safety guarantee or product certification. Our descriptions will explain what was checked, the sources used and when. We won't imply a physical visit where only desk research took place.

Commercial relationships should be easy to recognise

Use direct labels such as Paid placement or Affiliate link. Disclose gifted items and hosted visits where relevant, close to the content they relate to.

Free participation is a real route

Relevant causes, community contributions and listing suggestions can be considered without payment. Scope depends on relevance, evidence and editorial capacity.

Questions and corrections are welcome

Email hello@urbanpetpartners.com with the page link, the concern and any supporting evidence. Our team will review the issue and correct or withdraw content where needed.

Keeping useful things available

How commercial support fits.

Selected affiliate arrangements and clearly labelled promoted listings can help fund the sites and useful new features. We don't use automated advertising networks to fill pages with ads we haven't selected.

Referral partnerships are a model we're exploring. No programme, commission structure or clinical referral arrangement is promised here.

Our dedicated team reviews partnership applications. Claims and commercial terms require review before acceptance.

Small beginnings welcome

A good idea deserves
a conversation.

A neighbourhood business. A cause close to your heart. Something pet parents keep asking for. We'd love to hear it.
